Experience with Precision Xtra meter for ketones?

I am batting 0 with the collecting urine. I have a meter coming (THANK YOU!) that does ketones.

Any hints or experience? I am also looking for the best price on testing strips

I used it for the length of my 20 strips. Make sure you have enough blood- PLENTY of blood. They are not little sippers but need much more than a normal strip might. I wasted about 25% because of that. And get the blood first and don't take the strip out of its shiny wrapper until you do have the blood. Those little buggers are touchy compared to the glucose strips.

Getting the pee turned out to be a lot easier to collect for me but Sneakers went just about every hour on the hour so it was easy to wait for it and it looks like you don't have that option.
