Excessive thirst/urination, but blood glucose is normal

Before my cat was diagnosed, we noticed excessive thirst/urination. After her first two months on insulin, this normalized. However, recently we've noticed that the pattern is returning. But every time I test her blood sugar, its within the normal range.

She has had issues with her liver in the past and while her recent levels have been normal, I do wonder if that could be causing this problem, rather than the diabetes. She was also recently treated for a UTI.

Has anyone dealt with something similar?
 
Kidney disease also causes excessive thirst and urination. My diabetic cat was still drinking a lot after we started him on insulin. I went back to the vet and mentioned it, they ran their tests, and he was diagnosed with kidney disease. He gets subcutaneous fluids now and he’s drinking much more normally.
 
As they mentioned diabetes is not the only problem that has those symptoms, I agree you should get her thyroid and kindney values tested, all of it can be done with a blood sample.

Either one of those problems if she has them can be managed once you get them diagnosed and she can be ok you just will have to make some adjustments to his meds and or diet
