I was looking at Binky's list...it says EVO 95% Chicken and Turkey has 0 carbs. Is that correct? I just starting giving it to Trix, and she's loving it...

But yes, if the info given to us by the manufacturer is accurate, that is correct. So feed away!
 
Thanks! I thought it was odd that the carbs were listed at 0. This is a silly question...but do they need at least a little bit of carbs? Trixie seems to love the EVO, and after the Wellness Barf-Fest last week, I'm afraid to touch Wellness, at least for now...
 
i recently switched to this kind, i was giving FF during the day and i had mixed the two the one morning and come home and find the ff left in the bowl so decided to just completely over...both mine love it!
 
That's an ECID question .... Rambo did well on very low carbs, but Conan did better with higher carbs. The fat content is a worry (obesity, pnacreatitis, etc.), and I do suspect that *some* carbs are a good plan, so maybe find another food you can alternate with the EVO?
 
I think I will work another food in there, for variety's sake. She does love the EVO, though! She wasn't too fond of BG, and I'm afraid of Wellness now. I'll have to check the list for other foods to add in.
 
I have used EVO Turkey & Chicken Formula for 2 years and my cats love it.
Right on the label it lists "contains less than 7% carbs". That is on the 13.2 oz can.
Excellent results from this food.
