I heard that the company that makes EVO cat food has been bought by Proctor and Gamble. Wonder if that will affect the formula. I was thinking about using EVO as a second choice of food for my cats who are now on Wellness Chicken and Wellness Turkey.

Guess I will wait to add EVO to our food list until I see if anyone has any problems with the food. I wanted to have a back up food in the event of another recall of Wellness. I hate to have them on just one food in case something happens like the Wellness recall or the recall a few years ago.

Bah! I was going to ask the feed store manager next week if he could order the poultry kind after reading how much people here like it and the effects they see on coat quality. They only carry beef atm and I can't find it online without paying a lot for S&H. We currently feed FF but my cats are not picky by any stretch of the imagination(except they don't care for Wellness) so I wanted to supplement them with something different and a little bit better quality and Evo seems like it would've been a good match. I guess I will wait and watch to see if anyone notices changes and try to find something else for the time being.

Since the sale happened a year ago, you'd think if they were going to make changes they would have already. They've already passed the 6 month label change period and nothing has changed.

I've been feeding it to Bandit for a few weeks now and I've only seen improvements over the Fancy Feast.

Hi, I get EVO turkey & chicken from PETFLOW.COM which has free shipping with an order of $59.00 or more. (shop59 is the code). Price is good, $23.99 for a case of 12, 13.2 oz cans.
Delivered by Fed-Ex to your door.
Just thought this might help you.

Wow...even though it happened a year ago, I didn't know that Natura sold out to P&G. I have to say, this is really disappointing...scratch that one off the list.

That is a great price Pam! Since I have 4 cats, I was thinking that the larger can would be a good thing to buy. I will still wait a bit to hear if anyone else is having issues.

One of my cats has thin fur and i am not sure why. I wonder if it is the Wellness. When we started that in January, everyone got really soft fur after eating that now one has thin spots. Not bald, but just thin. I think i will start a new post to ask about that.

I believe I heard that P&G had to sign a 1 year no formula change thing with the sale contract. I was warned about a possible formula change by my local pet food place. Thought they have not seen a difference in the ingredients as of yet.
