Eukanubo Update

It's been a while since I've been here, so I decided to stop by just to let you know that Eukanubo is doing fine, he's been in remission now since May, thankfully his remission came up at the right time, as I've been very busy with helping my parents move from out of town into an assisted living facility. To complicate matters, my diabetic mother had a hypo and wound up in the hospital (along with other medical problems), was there a week, then I had to go out of town, currently I've been busy catching up with work and helping may parents adapt to their new surroundings. Thankfully they are fine, they like the place, and Euk is enjoying his remission like he should, I can't imaging juggling his sugar checks, insulin while taking care of all this chaos.
I do realize that he's been in remission before, so I don't know if he'll stay in remission or relapse again, I'm wondering if he has chronic pancreatitis with occasional flareups and what to do to prevent it. So I'm taking it one day at a time.

Hi HB- glad Euk continues to do well! I know its been a hectic time for you...glad you got your folks settled in. I can only imagine what a challenge that has been.. Good for Euk for no drama. We switched to Lev, and got the definitive acro dx, so Grayson starts his SRT today. Pop in once in awhile...good updates on our successful furries are always welcomed! Lu-Ann
 
Yay! Nice to hear from you HB. Glad to hear Euk is doing so well. I know the eldercare stuff is stressful. I wish you all the best with it indeed!

So good to get an update on Eukanubo and hear he is still doing well. I agree, what great timing on his part! He's such a good boy. cat_pet_icon
 
Hi HB; glad to hear that Euk is still OTJ and doing well.
It must be a big relief to have your parents settled into the assisted living facility and glad your mom is ok after the hypo.
