Hello, all,

Sorry I haven't stopped by, I've been extremely busy trying to find an assisted living facility for my parents, I've been running all over town, looking at different places, trying to figure out the different programs out there, it's awfully complicated to get old!

The good thing is that Euk has entered green territory, so I don't have to worry about him as much. It's now been like 10 days since his last insulin shot, for a while he was solidly in the blue range, but for the last 2 days he's been in the 90s, doesn't matter whether he ate or not.

He's looking very good but seems always hungry, irritable, anxious but it may be because he's also getting old and crotchety.

I'm feeling very cautious about this, because he's been in remission once and I'm sure it will probably be temporary, and maybe shorter, so I'll try to enjoy it while it lasts. At this rate, he may have 4 or maybe 3 of his 9 lives left, so we'll make the most of it.

Thanks, as always!

I saw that and I was like "what? It's been "like 10 days"????" How could HB not know down to the hour how long it's been?
Then I saw this...

And I thought, okay, he's seen OTJ before....

Regardless, HB, this is wonderful news and I am thrilled for you and Euk!

Great news!
We are going through the same thing with my grandmother, possibly finding an assisted living place for her, shes 94 and due to be released from rehab after the hospital in about a week. Shes lived by herself prior to this and wants to go home. Its a nightmare trying to weigh all the options and locate a decent place that's not full.
Good luck with it.
