Good morning ~O)
AMPS this morning was 397 (really it was around +10.5). Notice fairly flat curve last night in the 300s but at least no 400s. He is still eating well but seems desperate to get the carbs (no, he's not getting them). As far as his regular food, he eats it OK but needs encouragement and also sometimes he won't eat it unless there's some baby food mixed in with it. I did try the canned M/D and he actually seems to like it. While I'm aware that the carb content is higher than you guys would like, I would rather have him eat it as he seems to have lost lots of weight and feels like skin and bones. As far as insulin, I feel it's safe to give a full 1.0 unit this morning. Looking back, it seems he was doing better when he was getting 1 unit twice a day and panicked unnecessarily the one night he dropped, but of course, I'll continue to monitor.
 
He's eating and that's cause to celebrate! So glad he's turned the corner!

Tell him to put on his party hat and come celebrate w/ Kitten!!! Today's the big day for her! Both have reason to celebrate!

Did I tell you that your Grayson looks a lot like my Euk? I wish I had thought of a great name like Grayson when naming my kitty, but the story of how Euk got his name is a whole other story...
 
For the longest time, Grayson and his sister Ashley were known as Little Gray and Big Gray (she's fluffy, despite being small!), because I couldn't come up w/ good names for them! Not sure how I selected it, but he's got such a handsome gray suit, it seemed fitting for him! Here's one of my fav "youngster" pics of them:

...and here's a picture I took just a couple of days ago, when he was really sick but alert, looking out of the window, I honestly thought it would be his last, but again, he keeps bouncing back!

You can't keep a good kitty down! I LOVE it when they've got a little fire in their belly!!!

So glad to read you guys are having a better time of it HB. Fingers crossed he keeps eating and he’ll get thru this just fine. I know what you mean about the emotions too. (you mentioned this a couple posts ago) It’s exhausting.
