Good morning

Euk is doing fine this morning, is actually eating independently without needing too much assistance other than an initial nudge to eat. I'm giving mostly his usual food with a little baby food mixed in for flavor, he really likes the baby food but I only have one jar so I want to stretch it. How long can the jar stay outside before having to be refrigerated?
As far as insulin, his AMPS-1 hr is 403, so will give 0.8. This evening I'm planning to give 1 unit unless the PMPS is under 300 and/or is eating poorly.
To think I was planning to send him to the bridge today! Makes me wonder how many more lives he has left, he's sure used quite a few of them

Glad to hear he's doing so much better. I know you've got to feel so much relief! Why do they do (or fail to do) some of the things that are our key indicators of their health? Don't they know how important some of our decisions are? Who knows, but I'm glad he'll be seeing sunrises for many more days to come!

Hope he has a WONDERFUL weekend! (you know what they say, "A bad day of fishin' is better than a good day at the office!" Today was NOT his day to go to the bridge.

Sounds like Euk is feeling great today!
I wouldn't leave the baby food out more than 2 hours, I think there is very little preservative in it.
You can always put a little in the microwave for 5 seconds or so before serving or put the jar in a cup of hot water to warm it back up.
Most cats love it warmed a little anyway.
