Good morning
Not a bad day at all yesterday, he had a nice "blue run" midcycle yesterday, the only thing that was off was a higher than expected PMPS of 460, then again, he ate several times that day. I resisted the urge to up the dose, I kept it at 0.8 instead of 1, and he had a nice "yellow run" last night. This morning his AMPS was 354, not perfect but within his usual range. So, once again I resist giving a full unit, giving instead 0.8, and he's now peacefully sleeping. He seems to be responding better and better to the insulin, except for his rebounds. I'd rather he stay in the yellows to prevent rebounds, blues are nice but they seem to cause problems later on.
It seems that Mr. P's been making the rounds all around the neighborhood and has paid us a couple of visits, but he can't be persuaded to stay, I suppose he can't be everywhere at once.
Have a great day!
