Good morning!

He's holding steady at 146 this morning, I'm very pleased that he's been doing so well. I put a call in to the vet and they told me that we could discuss it when I dropped him off on Friday. They have always been very helpful and accomodating. He's boarded there before and they have a separate cat area, it's very clean and they have very spacious cages so I feel comfortable with them. I know it's less than ideal situation but the finances are a factor as well. I would love to put him in a resort but I"m not aware of where there would be one around here (I mean, the non-human kind, of course). Back around 2010 when he had his first remission, I had the same situation and he did OK after having to go out of town and having him boarding. Still, I'll keep looking for options, and try to figure out what to do about both cats with different food types.

I am sure Euk will be in very good hands at the vet.

His numbers continue to look really good.

Give us some more updates before you leave.

I haven't said much today because I've been in bed all day with the flu, talk about bad timing! Good thing that I ran a spot check on euk and it was 100! I tried to get somebody to come in this weekend from the vets office but she won't be available so I'm stuck with boarding. Good thing I'm not flying, just driving to S. FL for a wedding, so I won't have to deal with a clogged head 35000 feet up the air but I'd rather not go at all (not an option). I'm glad that he'll be in good hands and I'll pick him up Monday, so it's only 2 1/2 days.
