Seemed quite active at 02h30 when I got up to check on him, usually sleeping at this time. I think he's feeling a bit better these days :-D

Oh hello.. I see his AMPS is exactly the same as it was yesterday. That's a really GREAT way to start the weekend. Phew.

Re: Errol AMPS 88 (4.9)

Hi Michele

I've been off the board a few days but wanted to welcome you and Errol. What a very handsome boy he is!!!

It's great to see him getting all these greens and blues. I'd continue to get those +2 tests as many cycles as you can. It's a very informative test and if you have to leave for work, it will let you know if you need to leave out some higher carb food for him.

Re: Errol AMPS 88 (4.9)

Hello Marje and Gracie :-D Thank you for the excellent advice and for the compliment about Errol, I made a point to get back to do the +2 (well +2.15  ) and it's looking good. Actually great, because when he was first diagnosed I thought it was a death sentence so every day he is with me is a miracle and a blessing that I will never take for granted again.

Re: Errol AMPS 88 (4.9)

Thank you everyone - and I owe it ALL to you guys. I would never have had a clue what to do without you. Errol would still be on 3U, and possibly had a few hypo episodes and goodness knows what else.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart drinking24

oddly enough, this is one of the "gifts" that we get from our kitty's diagnosis. i had punkin for 2.5 years after he was diagnosed, and i knew every day how lucky i was to have him for one more day still.

I am also convinced that people here saved punkin's life too. it's no small thing!

great to see Errol doing so well! you're doing really well taking care of him. we can try to teach people, but they have to do their part - which you do. thanks!

<3 Punkin, I'm so sorry he's no longer here. Until you meet again.

No it's definitely no small thing, the encouragement, advice and love of cats on this forum is amazing. I've never experienced anything like it.
