Hi everyone! Just wanted to check in and let you all know Errol's doing well, I have him on 3/4 raw and 1/4 canned, except for the past week when he had 50:50 raw and canned. Fortunately the Pamper seems to be low carb and is not raising his BG levels as can be seen by his AMBG. He's losing weight very slowly :YMSIGH: , it's proving to be quite difficult getting a balance between him going hungry and putting on weight! Take care all!

Nice to see you and glad all is going well.
I would change the AMPS to AMBG ;-)
Good luck with getting that right balance for the weight loss.
Soon spring will be here, and maybe he'll be more active and that will help, too.

Haha, thanks Dyana, it's been a long hot day :lol:
We are actually heading toward autumn, thankfully, that means cooler weather and hopefully he'll stop shedding! I've bought him a lot of toys but, typical kitty cat, prefers one of his old ones :smile: I brought in a big bird feather I found in the garden the other day and that seemed to get him leaping around for a bit.

Hi Michele. I'm glad Errol is still doing so well. It is hard to find the right balance to keep them from being hungry and for them to loose weight. Good luck.

Hi, Michele.

I agree with finding the right balance of food for weight maintainence can prove to be a challenge. I know you'll figure it out. Just do things slowly, and hopefully he'll get back up to the ideal weight soon.

So nice to hear from you and Errol So you need him to lose weight and I need Twice to gain some more....Big sigh :lol: We are still in the deep throes of winter on this side, and I am sooo very tired of being cold. Can't help be a little jealous of your beautiful summer weather, although it gets quite humid there does it not??
Hope things continue to go well for you and please keep popping in. It's so great to see a condo up for you

Well I'm glad that getting them to lose weight is a universal problem :lol: Kim, I'll donate some of Errol's to Twice - his twin OTJ mate - heck I wish I could get Sylvester to donate some of his too. Despite them eating raw / canned they're just taking forever to lose weight. I'm so glad to see Twice's beautiful :mrgreen: numbers.
Usually our Highveld weather is hot and dry but we've had so much rain this summer it's horribly humid.
