EQ's Acromegaly diagnosis

EQ received his test results today. He's positive for Acromegaly. His number is 337. I don't like this, but I'm glad we finally know why he's not been responding well to insulin (we're currently at 9u Lantus now). I have a lot of reading to do, and I noticed there's not a lot of activity in this sub-header (Acromegaly/IAA/Cushings Cats), but I wanted to make our announcement here. :smile:

Most of us post over in the Acro Facebook forum so we don't come here often. It is a closed group to let us know to let you in.

It is always a relief to find out WHY they insulin isn't working if not really to find out... why the insulin is not working. Kind of a good news/bad news feeling :? .

Ask questions and come over to meet us, plus there is an acrocat board- http://catacromegaly.com that we go to as well that has a lot of information and stickies. It is set up like FDMB so is easy to attach SS and profiles to as it is the SAME as FDMB :lol: .

Acro/IAA/Cushings cats are a whole new breed of FD so sharing information is paramount to see what works with some might/might not work with others.
