Empty Insulin Bottles Needed

Hi All!

I haven't been online - life has been busy but I just saw this email from the folks at vial safe - if anyone has an empty bottle figured I'd pass this along

We really need your help!
As someone who purchased our Vial Safe insulin protector, we were wondering if you'd be willing to help us in return for our eternal gratitude and a new Vial Safe (for free)!
We are looking to do some product photography for our new website and need empty vials of Apidra or Lantus. We've tried everything, eBay, Craig's list, Facebook and have come up empty (pun intended).
We need 4 or 5 total but even 1 would help tremendously.

I wish I could help but we're using Levemir. I did however just visit the website and bought a protective cover. What an awesome product!! I haven't dropped a vial YET but I know its bound to happen one day and its way too expensive to break a vial. Thank you, thank you!!
 
You're welcome! Hopefully there is someone here that has an empty or two. I have one since I just bought the pen but I told the guy I was hoping to hold onto it for when I have to train my pet sitter in November for a vacation we are taking. Worst case, I can train her using my bottle of b12 but I'd rather keep the smaller lantus. yes, that protective cover is awesome! Other members have mentioned they use a crutch rubber bottom stopper and those work to keep the bottle firm and protected incase you drop it.
 
I think I have an almost empty vile of Lantus. I need to check when I get home. I hope I remember to look - someone remind me in about 4 hours - lol. I would be more than happy to send it to them.

I'd shoot him an email first before you mail out But it looks like he'd like 4 or 5 bottles for a photo shoot.
 
Oooh - I like it! I wish I could find one of these for Lantus cartridges. I've wrapped some pontytail holders around my vial just in case, but guaranteed I'm going to drop one sooner rather than later! :-)

I use the pens since they're encased in plastic (which provides some protection) but you might want to look into a crutch tip...those little rubber things that go on the bottom of crutches and canes. They come in different sizes.....maybe you could find one that would fit over the cartridge

Marc said he would give those who respond and send the empty, 1 free vial safe! I just asked him if they'd consider making a protector for the pens. Figured I'd toss that out there to them.
