Hi all -

Just wanted to say thank you again for all the kind words and prayers and thoughts you've sent my way. A special thanks to Michelle and Mannie for posting the news for me, and for the touching tribute. We're doing ok here. It helps to have my other furballs here to keep me company and entertain me. They seem to be working hard at the entertainment part. While I can't say they know exactly what's gone on, they know that something's different, and that I've been sad. Charlotte, my lab/border collie mix, does not like it at all when I'm sad, and she's been bringing me toys and dancing around and has basically just been a big goofball for the past couple of days. And Dory, my hound mix, hasn't really clued into anything. She's just not that bright. But she follows Charlotte and does whatever Charlotte does, so she's been pretty goofy too. They've gotten me to smile and laugh, so that helps.

I have 4 unopened Lantus pens in my fridge that I'd be happy to donate to someone. Is there anyone local to the Boston area who might need it? I'd love to not have to ship it, and it would also be great to actually meet one of you face to face.

If no one around here needs it I will ship it to whoever wants it. I just worry about it staying cool.

If you're interested, please send me a PM.

Thank you all again for everything. It has meant the world to me!

I do not need the Lantus but if somebody south of Boston needs it and cannot get it from you I would be happy to meet you to pick it up for you.
Are you north of Boston?

I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad that Charlotte and Dory are helping to cheer you up.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure your others miss her too. Glad they are helping to cheer you up. (HUGS)

Fly free Emma with your new golden wings and good health.

Does your vet know of a client who might need Lantus? Just a thought  If you want, I can ask my vet if he knows of anyone who might need Lantus. He prescribes Lantus a lot for his clients. We're in the Boston-area.

I sent Squishy's unused Levemir FlexPens to someone in need by Guaranteed Overnight Mail using bags of ice. The Posal Service however didn't get the package to its destination for 2 days cat(2)_steam and the box needless to say was soggy despite several layer of bags around the ice. The insulin worked just fine, though. And I did get a refund from the Postal Service.

thanks all -

I've connected with Claudia (cjleo) and we're going to meet up so I can give it to her. She certainly has a lot of kitties who use it!
