This is just me, but if one of my cats suddenly had trouble walking, I'd be taking them to the emergency clinic. Something that sudden would be a sign of alarm for me.

I have never heard of subQ fluids causing any kind of ataxia (but hey! maybe it is common and I'm just ignorant?)

::::crossing fingers she is ok::::

I've never heard of SubQ causing a cat to have trouble walking. If it were my cat I would be talking to the vet and probably getting her in before they close early on Sat. Tomorrow is Sun and most vets are closed.

I hope S is OK.

How much is 1 unit? 100ml? I think all the bags of LRS that I've used have been marked in rough ml. If 100ml than that is not a lot at all.

am back home and she seems better. Is walking ok (tho slowly) and just ate. Vet is open tomorrow for emergencies. Just found that she vomited and had a hairball. Don't know what any of this means. Thanks for your responses!~
