Hi Everyone,
After my summer of Lyme Disease (which the doctor's do not believe I had) and pneumonia, I am happy to report that I am feeling my "normal" self again and have begun to resume my usual activities. Hooray!
Edward and I walk several miles every day and we have done a few paddles. Next week I will go on my first hike (an easy one) since I got sick. Weather here is getting cold, but we plan to paddle until "ice in", as usual. I don't plan on climbing a mountain, however, until I get "fit" again. I'm working on building up my lost muscles (rowing machine and stationary bicycle).
Gus is his usual, active self. We play for a good half hour every morning and we've been taking him outdoors when the weather is nice so that he can climb trees. His fur is growing back after his shearing (did I mention that he lost 3/4 of a lb. of hair because of bad mats?). Sorry, no new pictures of Gus, but I'm posting a great shot of a group of Canada Geese resting during their migration.
Thanks again for your support during my bout with whatever it is I had. You guys are the best!
Hugs to you and scritches to your kitties
