The drinking a lot of water thing is normal, and I'm sure that he'll be doing that until his #s start to improve better. If you want to, you can always add an extra teaspoon or 2 of water to his food to help add more water to his diet. His pink # is starting to come down a bit, and that's good to see. I'm guessing that the lower blue # that you got yesterday morning may have been part of a bounce from the new dose that began the day before. That's normal, too. Keep up the excellent work, you 2! :smile:

Thank you Angela.I figured the water drinking was the diabetes and that was one way I discovered he had it. Max is not a water drinker otherwise and even less since he was switched to all canned food four years ago when he had his first bout with pancreatitis.

Thanks, I actually like older cats and they are harder for the SPCA to adopt out so win/win. I love tortis, they are so beautiful, I'm sorry that you and Max are missing Tiffany, it's hard when they go on :cry:
I'm hoping for another OTJ too, if possible. I hope you guys can make it there too!

Thanks, Rachel. Well day three post increase is pretty level. :-| Someone is standing on my foot while I type and tickling my foot with a wet nose. Maybe he is feeling a little better. For the last many months he hangs out in the bedroom unless he needs to use his box. Last night he ventured out to the forbidden part of the condo but went running back. It's forbidden because I have plants there which he will dig in and to keep a couple of sofas fur free!!
