Effect of Prozac on BG levels

One of DCIN's adoptive families (not on FDMB) has their insulin-dependent diabetic on Prozac. They are wondering whether others see any change in BG levels from the Prozac.

no changes seen in twinkie either way, higher or lower

I did not see any when my Snokey was on it.

I guess if the cat is on prozac because its very anxious... it could be producing cortisol which would spike BG. Once the Prozac kicks in the anxiety would reduce and so too the BG? Just speculating though.
