My cat Squamee has multiple problems, but right now the biggest is that she is eating very little and losing weight fast. I am interested in any suggestions people have about high nutrition or calorie dense supplements that cats tend to find attractive. Thanks!

As a supplement, the prescription AD may be helpful, but note that the carb content is a bit higher.

Otherwise, go to Binkys page and select canned foods which are higher in fat (closer to 70%). Fat has 8.5 calories per gram vs. 3.5 calories per gram for protein.

Does she like catnip? Recently Max decided to scare me by hiding and going off his food and just plain being nasty to everyone in the household. So unlike himself. To get him back to eating, I sprinkled a little catnip on his food and he chowed right down. Don't know if it will help in your situation but it got my boy back on his food.

He did later hack up a huge hairball, and has been his normal sweet self since then, but scared his momma bean. But I did learn that he isn't going to be one of those kitties that hides the fact he doesn't feel good. =)
