Dusty had an OK night. He pestered me for food several times, but not as often as Wed & Thurs nights. (Still haven't found my ice trays to try leaving frozen cubes). Since the switch back to strictly Purina DM pate' he just looks at me when I put it down and hardly touches it during the night. He gets me up anyway. I think he is hoping I will put something else down. As I've said before, Dusty has me trained well. Yesterday around Noon he gobbled his plate of food up after begging for several hours and not getting anything but the DM pate'. I'm going to grab a few cans of the fancy feast classic chicken or turkey again today and try him on that again. He really liked it before but it seemed to do something to his poo. Now that I know I can use Miralax, once I get some, if he needs it I will use it. Dusty is still using his LB successfully. He is pooing again, no problems there. Since Dusty seems OK, I'm going to travel to my parents house today to celebrate Father's Day. It's a 2 hour drive. We'll only stay a short while then be home for Dusty's PMPS.

Happy Fathers Day everyone!!! Hope you all have a great Sunday.

Gabby had the same, "You've got to be kidding!" reaction to DM. The ingredients are really not very good. It's not the best food for kitties in terms of quality -- Fancy Feast is better. To be honest, you could be buying one of the premium, human grade foods (e.g., Wellness, EVO) for what you're paying for DM.

Any change in food can effect the digestive system. Unless there are big problems, I'd stick with the food for several weeks until Dusty's system gets used to the change in food.

Good morning Elaine -

Just wanted to let you know to check Facebook. You should have the tab for the Acro/IAA/Cushing's group on your left margin. See you there.
