Thank you FDMB for whipping my momma bean right into shape. Thanks for the wet food, extra attention and for some strange reason I feel great again and have a ton more energy! Must be all the treats I get now that my bean is coming on here so much. I was feeling so horrible 2 weeks ago and the vet really freaked me out. I thought, "There is *nothing* good that will come from this!" But between you guys, my momma bean and our nice vet I am feeling pretty great for an old man.

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you guys. I never would have had this much control over Duncan's diabetes if it wasn't for all of you and your great advice and insistence on your methods. It took us a bit to get used to all the changes and incorporate all of them into an already bustling household but we did it and it's all thanks to you guys insisting on the very best care for Duncan. Now I don't just get to see my cat decline slow than he would have, I get to enjoy him for hopefully many more snuggle filled years. I never would have dreamed that remission was a possibility. You guys are awesome you really know your stuff. And my heart goes out to all the kitties that are little stinkers to regulate!! I will always think of you guys and really count my blessings and say prayers for you and your lovey little kitties.
Also want to say thank you to whom ever it was that posted some picture from I Can Has Hamburger ,com - that site is amazingly funny and totally lifted my spirits when I was all stressed about Duncan. And I am sure it will lift them again when I am all stressed about Duncan!
He is my special boy. Attached at the paw we are. No other animal has ever loved me this much, and now I get to enjoy him for much longer than I would have had I not caught his diabetes, and also gotten on this board.
So ... THANK YOU!!! YOU ROCK!!!

I'm glad to hear Duncan is feeling better, and it sounds like you are feeling better too! It's nice to get some control over the situation, isn't it?
