DST and shot time. How to handle?

Here in the Eastern USA we are approaching "spring forward" where we will set our clocks 1 hour ahead and move to EDT - Eastern Daylight Time :nailbiting:

How is this handled? My wife suggested that the day before the time change, we shoot 30 min earlier than usual for the PM shot. Then on time-change day, if we shoot when the clock reads the same time we always shoot (0630 hrs) it will only be 30 minutes off of the PM shot time and therefore less cycle overlap. Or does the 1 hour difference not matter enough to be a concern?

Thanks

{edit} I should have used the search first. I think I found my answer, this post is about the fall time change but is still very helpful:

Yes we always post reminders across all the boards. Some people choose/need to start working it backwards a few days before. I usually just let it be my permanent "new" shot time until the fall since I stay at home

Oh no, it is coming again, March 13th is it. I was hoping they would get rid of it by then.
I think I adjusted my time by 15 minutes so starting on Thursday I think. It helps if it is written out. I still managed to confuse myself:rolleyes:.

One of our moderators, Sienne will post the information in a short while, in time for everyone (new and old) to make adjustments. The "spring forward" is more tricky for some caregivers than the "fall back" because you are technically shooting an hour early if you don't make any adjustments to shot time before the time change, and for some kitties shooting a hour early can act like an increase.

Okay, it is next weekend right? I am starting to worry about it. So do we start shooting 15 minutes early each day starting Thurday? Is that right?
