Hi, everyone,
I know that dry food is a no-no for diabetic kitties. This forum was a godsend to me when I had a diabetic cat, and I am forever grateful to you all for your love and support and for educating me. However, I have a new cat, and he is not diabetic. I'm still feeding him the low-carb Fancy Feast varieties, because I want to do right by him. However, I am going on a trip and need a kibble recommendation. I'm having a neighbor girl who loves Leo come in every day, but Leo eats three times a day, and I don't want to put wet food in a feeder and have it sit out for 24 hours. I'd prefer for the neighbor to come feed him at noon, leave wet food in the feeder for 5 pm, and then dry kibble for breakfast the next morning. The PDF doesn't list any dry at all, but I'm wondering: is there any that you might recommend? I don't know how to choose. I'd really appreciate any advice at all! Thanks!

It's considered a sin but both our non diabetic cats graze on both kibble and FF. When we did have diabetic cats they were two of nine and switching to wet food was a big deal. Dishes everywhere, the dog was into it and it probably caused our dishwasher an early death. You don't need super expensive organic / blessed by a Shaman / $200 a bag food. Good luck ;)
