I'm sure this has been asked before. I have a female brown tabby, non-diabetic, who is extremely difficult to feed. It's like she is anorexic. She will lick the gravy from Friskies pate, just a little. She will eat Friskies party mix and thats it. Not a wet food cat. Clover is not underweight, surprisingly. When she eats, she will vomit frequently. I am sooo tired of opening five cans and she puts her nose up. I have tried fortiflora, nope. She had six teeth removed six months ago. Thought she had a sensitive stomach. Will eat Iams dry when hungry
Any suggestions on a good dry food, low carb that she may eat???? She doesn't like dr. Easley dry. Clover is always screaming at me, not satisfied.
Thanks a million!!!!
She ***** slaps my other cats... UGG, what we do for our animals.!!!

Have you tried raw or freeze dried raw? The freeze dried has some crunch to it, as does air dried (Ziwipeak). And are generally low carb. I'm a bit concerned about the vomit frequently part. The raw and air dried products have some different proteins in case she has an allergy to what she is eating.

Have you taken her to the vet to have bloodwork done? She’s got something going on that’s not right. Right now the priority is getting her to eat - whatever cat food she will eat and I would not worry about it being low-carb. Party Mix is not a complete diet, but I have known cats who were very ill to keep going on Party Mix for a while. So the priority is eating - and getting her to the vet, of course (sorry.)

P.S. if you really want to try it, the Young Again foods are low carb and they will send you free samples. I hear very mixed reviews on Young Again… from fantastic to gave my cat diarrhea and vomiting. ECID

I don't know, racking my brain on other one of my kids... Will try to get her to vet.. Will they do bloodwork? Hate going to the vet. They get traumatized and so do I. I do know it's for the best. Thank you!!!

+1 ing to @Suzanne & Darcy s suggestion of an anti nausea med for your kitty! My boy battles pancreatitis and out of the blue will stop eating and doesnt want anything except what he can lick. He takes Cerenia, but so many members have best results withs ondansetron. These drugs really made a huge difference in my cats life
