everything I seem to read direct me away from dry food because not ideal for diabetic cats but today vet told me I should always have some down so his sugar does not dip.... are there dry food charts for carbohydrate info
thanks

You can leave down canned food to be nibbled; it doesn't have to be dry.

The only 2 low carb kibble are
Evo Cat and Kitten - 8% calories from carbohydrate; specialty pet stores
Young Again 0 Carb - 5% calories from carbohydrate; internet only

My vet just put my boy on Purina ProVet DM (Dietectic Management). He's been raised on dry food and we still struggle with getting him to eat wet only 2 times a day. His sugar dipped to 60 last week so now we're able to leave some dry food out for him in between meals. It's been a painful process.
