Dry Food Options?

I was wondering what dry foods others feed that are no/low carb? I was looking into Dr Elsey's, but it's getting a lot of bad reviews right now. Just wondering if there's other good options to occasionally offer as a treat?
 
It's a little pricey, but I have Ziwipeak Air Dried on hand for treats so it lasts a long time. My girl rejected freeze dried but the crunch of the air dried she enjoys. Just be mindful that it's a complete nutritional food.

My non diabetic cats had a bit of epigen 90.... it's under 8% carb. I wouldn't feed it exclusively to a diabetic. You may be able to get a sample by writing to the company (wysong)

Sara, before Lando was diagnosed with kidney disease, he was eating the stella and chewys freeze dried raw really well. Lando is a kibble addict ;) perhaps that may work for you?
If not, i have switched from Dr Es to young again mature lid zero. Things seem to be going really well with Lando on that ( the only drawback is that he vomits if i give him wet alongside YA. so this forces me to serve two dry meals and two wet meals a day haha

Thank you. To say that I am beyond heartbroken is an understatement. :(
 
I am so sorry for your loss, Sara. You did everything for Taz and he knew how much he was loved. The more we love them, the more profound the pain of losing them. Sending hugs :bighug:
 
Were the bad reviews you saw about Dr. Elseys about the food being more crumbly/broken up? Or was it something else?
