I know generally people don't like to feed dry food but I have to leave down dry food because of our unique circumstances. If you want to know, you can ask, but I dont want to bore people with the long story.
Anyways, I got samples from Dr. Elsey's. I have a diabetic kitty that spikes on Weruva medium carb (9%) food. Does that means she will spike on Dr. Elsey's Salmon or Turkey dry kibble? Salmon for example on Chewy is showing as being 8.56% carbs on a dry matter basis. Turkey is 8.76% carbs on a dry matter basis. I am confused because I saw a chart posted somewhere else that says those foods are 6.90% but then I see a link on Dr. Elsey's site that give other percentages. https://www.drelseys.com/faqs/what-are-the-carbohydrate-amounts/
Because our kitty is doing so well, I really am nervous about trying these flavors but am not sure if chicken will always be available. I had asked for a sample of chicken but they didn't send it. Any input is appreciated.
