Dottie has uspet stomach - Pepcid AC?

Dottie has an upset stomach, she has had issues with this in the past. Usually, she gets over in a few hours or so. It's gone on a little long this time. I have some Pepcid AC, I've never used it on her. I think I gave it to Cecil once. Is it 1/4 tablet that I give?

She did lick up a little gravy and she had a few treats, which made me feel better. I just don't want her to not eat, because I'm fearful of fatty liver disease. She is over weight and I've read that kitties like her can get very sick quickly. nailbite_smile

Be sure it's only the regular strength, the 10mg.

The max total for a day is 5mg, so if you cut the square pink tab into 4 pieces, you are good for 2 days.

I often give Shadoe 1/4tab (2.5mg) BID with her shots. It does a great deal of good to settle down an upset.
I know how I feel with an upset stomach and I sure don't feel like eating, so it makes sense the kitties may feel similar.
Pepcid is a good thing to try; I hope it works

Thank you for the information. She was fine by the time I got home from work, so she didn't need the Pepcid AC. Sigh of relief... I took her to the vet for her senior well pet check, hopefully all her bloodwork with be ok. She has been doing very well, knock on wood.
