Dosing advice?

Hey folk. I ran a couple of curves anticipating an increase, but I got one set of data that was quite different to the rest, so I left is as is as I was going to be away for a bit and I was anxious about increasing when I wasn't going to be around all the time. I'm back do I ran one more, decided to do the increase today (in NZ we're in lockdown for at least the next 4 days so I'll be home to keep watch), and then her pre-shot today was really different to normal so I didn't, based on the generic advice in the SLGS sticky. But between that and learning yesterday in the Fb group that holding a dose too long can cause issues I'm really unsure what to do now. Overall her numbers say she needs to go up I'm sure, but I'm second guessing myself. Input appreciated. Many thanks.
 
For some reason your last set of data is not showing up on your ss. several boxes have #value, maybe too much info on line. Sorry I can't advise on dose adjustment, not enough experience. Good luck with the dose and with lock down. You guys sure seem to take keeping this virus under control, wish I was there.
 
Sorry, I enter into the international sheet, any cell that is not just a straight number (e.g "8.8 @ +6.5" doesn't auto convert to US units. I've gone through and manually converted all the recent ones. It's a pain so I don't do it often, my apologies.

Yeah overall we've been very lucky, life has mostly been like normal. I'm glad they're taking this first Delta incursion so seriously, and there are worse things then 7 days at home!

Before you do any increases in dose, we need to be seeing what is happening in the PM cycle. Without any data from there, we are missing out on half of the data. Cats often drop lower at night. I would get into the habit of getting a before bed test in every night. If that test is lower than the preshot BG, that can be an indication that Minerva might drop lower. I would then set the alarm and get up later to test to see if the BG has dropped low.
I am in Sydney and have been in lockdown for 9 weeks and it has just been extended u end of September. This delta strain is savage.
 
Thanks Bron, ok that is something we can do starting tonight. So in the meantime we hold at 1.25?

I got worried when I learned from FDMB Facebook group this week that holding a dose too long can also cause issues and I know I'm not doing the best for Minerva and really would like to do better for her.

It does look as if she needs an increase, but first we need to check there is nothing happening in the pm cycle for a few days. I would not like to say increase the dose and then find she drops at night. Better to find out that information first.
