so mr Truffles seems to be doing well at the moment. Last few days I’ve had to stall his pm shot till it was just over 200 and this am he was 92 so no shot at all. Tested +6 and he was 104. Should I decrease his shots from 2.5 to 2 if he is low 200s. Does this mean his own insulin production could be kicking in? Curious to know what you experienced folks think. He’s so much happier in himself and was playing with a catnip mouse this am!

So tonight he was 214, which seemed good to me when his last shot was yesterday evening. I reduced his dose to 1.5 and I’ll see how he is in the am. Thoughts still appreciated

Really tough call on Mr Truffles. His AMPS is really all over the place but he has such nice blue and green numbers at +6. I'm wondering if he is going lower than that somewhere during his cycle, or if he is just getting good overnite legs out of the Vetsulin? Maybe he's going lower overnite than he is during the day and that's why he has numbers too low to shoot some mornings? Maybe he needs a very small decrease in his dose so he has a shoot able number every morning.

Also, maybe some vetsulin ppl can chime in on whether and in and out insulin like Vetsulin can have different doses am and pm? I know that's a no no on a depot insulin like Lantus.
