I finally got my spreadsheet set up, although not sure I'm filling it out correctly. We are now testing more frequently, at least daily. We started Salem at end of Febr on Lantus. We only really have been checking his levels preshot, not after. Now that his levels are dropping recently, we will due more often. Note today's reading was low so we didn't give him any insulin (that was this aftn). We tested 6hrs after that and it's 132. Question is do we wait til normal injection time (12:30am) let it go up a bit? Problem is we will be out most of tmrw and that will mess up the 12hr schedule. We probably won't be home until after 2pm so should we still do at 12:30 or hold off later if possible? We will get better at posting on the spreadsheet and test more often.

You need to change the privacy setting on your spreadsheet...right now we can't see it.

Go to the top right corner and hit "share"....a new box will pop up and look on the bottom right for "Advanced" and click there...another box will pop up...choose "anyone with the link" and then "done"

Since I can't see what you've got already, it's always going to be safest if you can't monitor if you skip the shot. As you get more experience, you'll learn to shoot lower numbers, but we don't suggest shooting under 200 if you don't have anyone watching out for you the first few times. As you get more data, that number will come down and you'll learn to shoot lower and lower numbers.

Better too high for a day than too low for a minute!

Make sure when you're setting the permissions for sharing Salem's spreadsheet to only allow people with the link to VIEW the spreadsheet (i.e. do not allow them to edit/make changes).
