Dosing advice, if still under 200 soon, how much should I shoot?

Get a +11 so you can see what is happening.
If it is under 200…..stall, dont feed and test again in 20 minutes to see if the BG is rising. And post and ask for help. Change the subject line to reflect the question.
If there have been ketones in the picture, you don’t want to be skipping a dose.

When I click in where it says Charlie's Spreadsheet it doesn't look the same as yourhttps://docs, spreadsheet
On Charlie's Spreadsheet it shows only one test

Looking at your spreadsheet you hardly have any tests after his AMPS and no testing at PMPS

You need to be testing more often to see how the insulin is working for him, at night is just as important.
I will give you the link so you can read all about Lantus, also please choose a dosing method
Looks like you do feed kibble so you will have to follow SLGS
You are shooting all different doses, Lantus likes consistency, same dose both AM and PM
Lantus is not based on the pre shots it's based on the nadir, how low he drops
We increase or decrease by 0.25 units at a time
Do you have the syringes with half unit markings?

Sherry, what have you decided to do?

I notice you have no tests in at all during the pm cycles. It is really important you get at least one test in during each pm cycle as cats often drop lower at night. Try and get into the habit of getting a before bed test evey night and if that test is lower than the preshot test, set the alarm and get up amd test again to see your kitty is in safe numbers still.

Are you able to monitor the BGs during the cycle tonight? And stay up all cycle if needed?
Do you have high carb food and honey or Karo at home if needed for low numbers?
I don’t think it is a good idea to skip the dose if there have been ketones in the picture as insulin helps keep ketones away.
How is his appetite?
You gave 1.5 unit’s this morning with a preshot of 142.
 
Sherry, I can see on the SS you have 1.5 units in the pm cycle. Have you given that dose?
If so I would strongly advise you to get a +2 to start with and then after seeing what the +2 is, get some further tests in during this cycle.

I will be around for several hours so can watch out for your updates and can help you if needed.
Did Charlie eat well for you before the dose?
