Dosing Advice-First Week of Lantus

Hi everyone,
Pudge was switched from ProZinc to Lantus and has been on 1u since December 2nd. The vet told me not to change doses without her and she will evaluate his numbers on a weekly and biweekly bases. We have an appointment and an ultrasound on Monday . My worry is he has been relatively high and I know she is going to want to increase to 1.5u. I know from this forum that 1.25 would likely be better. Do I just agree with her and then do my own dosing? Or should we jump to 1.5?
Any help would be appreciated! We are still trying to figure out the SLGS and TR protocols.

That's what I do...I smile, nod my head and then do what I learned here.

It'd be really helpful if you'd put a line into your spreadsheet when you switched insulins. Having it in the "Remarks" can be missed.

If you look at China's spreadsheet for 9/18 you'll see where I put a line for the day she had her dental (as an example)….you'd just enter L A N T U S across your line
