Dose reduction...

Test time and dinner time is in a half hour for Chocolate...could someone look at her chart and give an idea of what dose to give tonight? I sent Lori a message but I'm not sure if she's around right now...Chocolate started dropping early today and I gave her hi carb wet so she wouldn't drop any more since it started at +3ish

Christina,
After today, she is likely to be "insulin sensitive". In your shoes, I wouldn't go more than .5, no matter what she reads in 1/2 hour. Maybe a skinny .5 even.
Don't be surprised if Chocolate shows you some bouncy numbers like last night either. She may even show you that in the AM as well.

Sure. Less eyeballing that way. As long as you are comfortable with that. You could even go .4 or .3 easier.

To administer this amount
of U-40 insulin Draw to this level in a U-100 syringe
0.2 _______________ 0.5
0.4 _______________ 1.0
0.6 _______________ 1.5
0.8 _______________ 2.0

Carl

So should I do .4 units? Which would mean fill to the 1 unit mark on the 100 syringe. Or .5 which I assume would be in between 1 and 1.5

Why would you want to reduce THAT much.
I think a .75 would be significant.
Why lose the momentum?

No, it's ok.
Any info is good info.
And I'm afraid we won't really know about tomorow just yet.
Are you up to getting any tests tonight?

I was going to tell you to stay with .4 for a few cycles. Now not so sure. I wanna see what .4 does before thinking "next dose".
