PMPS is 394. AMPS was 348. I gave 3.5u so I'm thinking to do the same tonight?
Thanks Janet!Yeah i like the 3.5.
3.5At most 3.75... Let's do 3.5 so you can sleep easier tonight. Lol
Thanks Kris!3.5 u looks good to me.![]()
I'm really thinking it's 3.5-3.75. We will see! Next days off are Wednesday and friday. Can't monitor Friday I'll be gone so maybe Wednesday.Next time you can monitor, I am wondering if 3.75U is more her target dose, numbers permitting of course. BUT it is a moving target so it could change later![]()

Stay at 3.5 u for today and maybe do a curve at this dose tomorrow. Given the lime green the other night on 4 u you need a better idea of where the good dose is. A full curve on 3.5 u should help unless she's high all day from bouncing. The 454 this AM is a bounce number. She might have dipped last night.AMPS 454.Shot 3.5 again. Will be home all day tomorrow to monitor. Maybe increase to 3.75? Or stay at 3.5 for several more days?

Apply freeze dried meat treats liberally!Sounds good! She's going to be mad as heck. So much poking lately.
You can put neosporin ointment with pain relief to sooth the ears.Sounds good! She's going to be mad as heck. So much poking lately.
I do after each poke! You can put neosporin ointment with pain relief to sooth the ears.
Those three numbers are a good indicator of what the dose is doing.Won't be able to do a full curve todaybut going to get a +3 +6 & +9. Numbers down slightly from past few mornings.
We call that a mini curveWon't be able to do a full curve todaybut going to get a +3 +6 & +9. Numbers down slightly from past few mornings.
. Like Kris already told you, still helpful
Hehehe you guys are so wise. Holding stready in the high blues at +6. Was thinking the same thing for tomorrow morning. Would be able to get a +3 before I have to leave for work and bf can get a +5 or +6 to make sure she's doing ok.Hurray for a mini curve! I'm predicting it'll finish up uneventfully and it's telling us that you can try 3.75 u tomorrow AM.
Yup the 1/2 marks really help. This morning I had one w/o half marks and was likeI did end up getting the u-40 carepoint syringes online with the 1/2 markings. If I do go up to 3.75 I would just eyeball it?
Sounds like a good plan for tomorrow. Yes, you can eyeball the 3.75 u dose. Consistency is more important than a high degree of accuracy.Hehehe you guys are so wise. Just a bounce number - ignore it. The blues today tell the real story.522 PMPS grrrrbeen awhile since she's been this high.
So I could potentially give her different am and pm doses? Here's my suggestion for the next few days if you are interested in doing a sliding scale.
Use your own judgment and gut, and adjust as additional data comes in and as needs change. I would aim for nadir of around 75-110. Of course error on the side of caution when you won't be around to test and steer numbers.
150-190 1 u
190-225 1.5u
225-250 2 u
250-288 2.5
280-310 3 u
310-350 3.5u
350-400 3.75 u
400+ 4 u
Yes, that can work really well in some kitties. You could try it for a while to see if it works for Angel. JanetNJ has a lot of experience with Vetsulin so the scale she suggested would be a good way to start. So I could potentially give her different am and pm doses?

Yes. It's lantus that they try to keep the same dose. Vetsulin is in and out.... Dose as needed. So I could potentially give her different am and pm doses?
