? Dose advise. Increased thirst...again.

Jimmy started to drink water this afternoon after his PM shot. I've even been putting water in his wet food. He finished having some food about an hour ago and planning to test at 9:30. If his numbers jump up to the black...do I increase dose tomorrow am?

Some cats just like water, so don't worry too much about catching him drinking occasionally....China still drinks a lot of water (although a LOT less than she did before we started insulin) and she gets water added to her food too

I think you could go up to 1.75 tomorrow

Thank you...sometimes I feel I just need some talking down. We did get some good activity in today too. I don't have tiny increments on my syringe. Is it ok to eyeball just shy of 2 units? ...and thank you for the quick response. I work from home...so will be able to test as needed. Thinking every 3 hours tomorrow. Getting in a test shortly and another one very early morning around 3 am.

Just tested at 306 +4. Does the pumpkin effect BG? I gave him a bit earlier today.

not unless the pumpkin has sugar in it....

It is okay to eyeball, just try to be consistent with what you shoot. You might want to take a piece of paper or a ruler and mark it so you can copy it the next dose and the next.
