@Deb & Wink the curve today is flat...reduced AM to .25 or as near as my poor eyesight can get it! No idea what to do next!
Well so far tonight she’s still staying around the same! Unless someone wakes me up I’m done for tonight. Thanks for those curve results!
Petunia has been in the yellow colored BG ranges the entire curve. That can often indicate that your cat is ready to "clear the bounce", so it's worth keeping an eye on the BG readings for this evening's cycle.
Yes, those tiny doses of insulin are hard to measure. You do the best you can, and try to be consistent. Maybe make a "reference syringe" with some colored water. That way, you can compare the amount of insulin you drew up to your reference guide
OK?
Certainly. You are there and know Petunia better than we EVER will.@Deb & Wink Im not liking how her BG was so high AM & how it’s going today. I’m thinking the .25 is not enough? Can I bump her back up to .50?
It’s so hard to tell for me! Her +2 is down some. I went ahead & stuck with .25 for PM does. Should I hold it tomorrow also?Certainly. You are there and know Petunia better than we EVER will.
We have a saying ( well , we have lots of sayings actually).
"You hold the syringe, the ultimate decisions are always yours to make."
It kind of depends on how Petunia does during this evenings cycle. If she drops below 90 again at nadir, which seems most likely around +4 to +5 it seems, then she has earned another reduction. It’s so hard to tell for me! Her +2 is down some. I went ahead & stuck with .25 for PM does. Should I hold it tomorrow also?
