Yesterday i ordered a new bottle of insulin because I did not think it was working. This morning he is at 516 should I give him his regular food and try a shot. i have a much needed doctor appt this afternoon.

could it have been a fur shot? if you already gave a shot it not is safe to shoot again you will be taking a risk that some insulin when in and cause hypoglycemia, you need to wait for his next shot PMPS, what IS his regular food? hopefully is low carbs between 0-10% wet an food, if you are feeding kibbles, they contain between 20-35% carbs, also I cannot see this years SS, what insulin are you using? so I can guide you to the appropriate member for dosing

Teresa --

I don't think I can answer your question without current spreadsheet data. The two things that stand out based on information from March and then again in April is that it looks like KitKat is prone to bouncing. That may make it appear that the insulin isn't working. In addition, I suspect that you're holding the dose for too long.

Teresa, if you need help, please contact me over on the ProZinc forum where you have posted in the past. We do need to try to get some more numbers back on your spreadsheet. I hope you are okay.
