Hi,
Has anyone esle experienced this? My 16 year old, Chong, doesn't seem to feel good about 2 hours after her insulin shot. Her BG hasn't fallen too much but she acts like she doesn't feel well, and it happens every day about 2 hours after insulin.

Anyone else notice anything like this? Is there something I can do to make her feel better. She eats pretty well.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Sorry Barb -

I've never experienced that w/ Grayson. There are usually a fair amt of eyes on this board in the early am east coast, but maybe not so many now. You may want to cross-post on the Main Health Forum - that one seems to get more eyes on it around the clock.

Good luck!

I don't know exactly what you mean by not feeling well, but Hershey has had several times of ~1-1/2 hours after his shot, getting 'growly' with our other kitty, Oreo. He never growls at us, but if Oreo gets within a room of him, he'll start growling under his breath, like he just doesn't want to be bothered. I posted about it, but have never found a rhyme or reason to it. He did it several cycles, then not...then skipped a while, then did it last night...Sorry, I don't have an explanation. He doesn't seem to actually be hurting and when I've checked his BG he's fine, so I just usually give him his space and keep Oreo away from him.

Sorry, I was like noooo help at all. I hope y'all have a great day -

Libby (and Hershey, too!)
