Does anyone know if there is any type of pet insurance policies available that help cover the vet visits and insulin/supplies? I was thinking of looking into it, but I don't want to spend the money for it if it doesn't help with the costs with my sugar kitty

Most do not cover any pre-existing conditions, nor conditions previously treated within the last 12 months.

what Mary said - unfortunately, you have to get the insurance BEFORE a cat is diagnosed with fd and some policies require a vet visit before they cover and if it comes out in the visit that the cat may have or does have fd - then guess what it isn't covered.
