Do you decrease dose when bouncing? (Lantus)

we had a nice couple of blues yesterday. First time in a long time. So of course he is now over 400 at +12

Wish i had thought to ask this before. Do you give reduced dose at times like this? The liver is panicking, so less insulin should be given?
