He's always been heavy, but I don't notice increased water intake or urination. After all this with Shiloh, I just kind of worry. He has NASTY ear polyps and one folded ear from a hematoma, so I think the ears may be out the question. PLUS, several years ago, he had pododermatitis, so I am wary of testing his paw pads.

I have done, just once so far though it might well be something I do every 6 months or so (unless I suspect a problem)...at least that way I'd spot any problems early. I figured I already had all the test stuff out - she'd spent weeks wondering why Rosa was getting all the attention anyway. And it didn't bother her at all - if it had, I'd have stopped.

I did once. He always sits so close and acts so jealous when I'm testing Tasha. So I finally asked him if he "wanted a piece of this." He acted quite confused but sat fine for it. I can't remember what his number was exactly but I think it was in the 60s. He hasn't "asked" again since.

When I tested him the other day, I tried to give him some tuna also, and he didn't react at all. He knew I was giving him something, and once I put a piece in his mouth he gobbled it up. Just tested Shiloh, and tried again with Spuds. Not testing, but giving the tuna, tuna water specifically. He looked all around it, but no real reaction. Could it be that he can't smell it?
