Hi, Happy Thanksgiving everyone...

Can someone pop in and check Silver's SS - I am holding his shot...Gotta leave for work in 20 mins - he was only at 81 at PMPS. I'm not following TR as I am out all day at work and I think I should skip...?

Took me a few to figure out the button to switch it to numbers I can read. 81 isn't really low IMHO and he is getting a pretty small dose.
I would probably give him the shot if I could make it back home in the next 3-5 hours to check on him. I probably would feed him a bit heavier breakfast though.
I'm no expert at this at all, but if it were my cat I'd probably shoot him and worry all day

Thanks. I took the decision not to shoot as my cat drops fast and low after his shot and its 12 hours til I can get home to him.
 
It's always better to skip, if you aren't going to be around to test. And you haven't shot a lot of green numbers. I think skipping is the wise decision in this case.
 
I agree with Suzanne. You've only ever shot that low once before, and you were home to monitor. We do like to "shoot low to stay low", but you also have to be data-ready to do it, and Silver isn't there yet. You made a wise decision to not shoot this morning, Juliet...safety always has to come first. He may be high this evening, but I'm sure he'll get back on track quickly!!
 
Thanks :-). I don't think I'd have been able to work if I'd given him a shot. I'm glad his numbers are coming down tho.
