Originally when Lily was diagnosed in November 2015 my vet had her on 4 units am and 3 units pm. It was suggested to me to start over with a lower dose. Lily has been having pretty much the same glucose levels for sometime now. I want my old Lily back-the one who was bright eyed and wanted to play. Now all she wants to do is eat and sleep. Feeling sad...

Yes, I would definitely increase. The ProZinc protocol is in my signature in blue and might be helpful. If cats are running high, as she is, increase by 0.5 and hold for 3 cycles before evaluating a higher dose. When you raise, be sure it is on a cycle you can monitor.. If you'll post more often and let us see her spreadsheet and help with advice, hopefully we can get her on track.

I am using U-40 syringes so do I just eyeball the 0.5 unit increase?
Also how often do you recommend I check her sugar after the increase? Every hour, two hours, etc?

Either eyeball or mark a sample syringe so you can compare it for consistency.

I'd check early on the cycle - +2/3 to catch any early drop. Then +5-7 to find the nadir, and maybe 8/9 to see when she starts to rise.

Lily has become accustomed to getting either her meal or a treat when I check her sugar. If I am doing a curve at home, I suppose I should not be giving her a treat since food will increase her bg?
