Do any of you also have diabetic dogs?

If so where and how do you test them? I have a Chihuahua that has some symptoms that make me worry and I was thinking of checking her BG too since I have gotten brave.

Ick...for some reason that looks a lot more invasive! I am not sure what my little girl would think of that.

When my dog was exhibiting some of the same symptoms, I just tested her from the ear just like I do the cats. Of course depending on the breed, you may have to have the hair clipped short on the ears to make it easier to test.
