DKA from stress?

Is this really possible? Oreo has been admitted for DKA. CBC and chem show nothing remarkable and her numbers haven't been extremely high. You can check out her chart in my link. What we do know is that this is her 2nd bout in 14 months. First time was 9/2011 when she was relinquished to shelter and now after a very substantial fight earlier this week. I won't go into gory details but will say a behaviorist has been involved since end of August, she sustained numerous injuries and was on bup Wednesday and clavamox to ensure no infection. I will post the link to the video once it's done rendering and I get it uploaded. My biggest question is DKA from stress. Has anyone ever experienced this?

Wow, sorry to hear this, CJ. I haven't heard of stress induced DKA but I can see how it could happen. Stress is certainly listed as one of the symptoms as is infection, which seems a possibility for her. At least you caught it fast and she is being treated.
