That silly boy of mine went outside this morning and came back with a skink in his mouth. He has NEVER chased, much less caught, a lizard before.
We had a neighbor back in Brunswick who swore that skinks were bad for cats and that two of her cats had eaten them and it caused their heads to permanently tilt to one side.
I managed to get Dimitri to drop the lizard before he ate it and then I caught it and took it further out in the yard.
I googled "skinks bad for cats", but most of the sites say there is no scientific proof that skinks cause any harm to cats.
Does anyone have actual experience of skinks harming their cat(s)?
