? different readings with different glucose monitors - one much higher

So we ran out of test strips for the TrueResult meter that we started with, and SURPRISE! the test strips for that particular meter are no longer being made, so we couldn't get replacements.

Finally got a ReliOn meter today. Took first BG reading in 3 days this evening. Trident's BGL was much higher than we ever measured before.

We will continue to monitor and see what happens, I guess. Our numbers with our new monitor will be listed below the red line.

We have heard in the past that meters with "True" in the name have a habit of testing lower so that may be what's going on

You might also want to remember to re-test anytime you get a number that makes no sense....sometimes you just get a wonky test strip
