Difference in reading between 2 meters

This morning I did a BG with both meters I have now, the alpha Traks from the vet and the Bayer Contour Next which I bought yesterday.
They respectively recorded 30.4 and 22.8 mmol.
Is this just the difference between a human and cat calibrated meter?

Yes. There is a difference, nothing to worry about (though there isn't a clear conversion factor between them, the pet meter is generally higher). Most people here use the human one because the strips cost less.

I am working on it. I have not filled anything out yet on the spreadsheet and have some problems that someone (sorry I cant remember names) is helping me with.
This Saturday I have to do Tiger’s first bg curve. i already feel sorry for his poor ears.
